DRIVETIME

Making your commute fun. This was an amazing opportunity to work for some of the most talented people I know, for a second time. Founders of Drivetime were looking to launch their voice recognition trivia game on Android and I was given a shot at creating a great showcase for their game. I played off the wonderful personality and pure enjoyment I experienced using the app, to write some copy and create some imagery to best convey the magic that they had created in this very unique game.

The next phase of Drivetime was to offer more content and navigate the library of shows while keeping things simple.
Even with more content to navigate they wanted to be sure that drivers didn’t get distracted and chose content before they started their commute.
New content from third party providers meant they also could have the chance to create a subscription service
to access a back catalog of shows. My task was to best surface the variety of show personalities in a fun and simple way.
Below is my process when working with Justin and Niko at Drivetime.

This next phase explored the use of the CONTINUE LISTENING widget above the content tiles. This player widget could keep the most recently played content upfront and visible to users.
